The Govt of India, Post Department, Andhra Pradesh Circle has issued the Gramin Dak Sevaks 2017 Recruitment Notice (GDS) / India Post AP GDS TM, GDS BPM, Packer of GDS Post Recruitment 2017 and Applications are Invited by the respective appointing authority as set out in Annex "B" for each post, from among the eligible candidates for selection and appointment to Gramin Dak Sevaks posts under the Andhra Pradesh Circle listed in The Annex.

Eligibility:
Age limit: The minimum and maximum age for engagement in Gramin Dak Sevaks positions must be between 18 and 40 years of age at the last date of submission of the online application. The maximum age is relaxed from 03 (three) years to those belonging to the OBC categories and 05 (five) years to SC / ST candidates. [10 years for PH above the respective category

School Qualification: The candidate must pass the 10th standard of state councils approved by the respective state Govt. / Central Govt. The list of approved councils is listed in Appendix "A". No weighting will be given to qualify above the mandatory qualification. The candidate passed the class X exam in the first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed by compartment.

Computer skills: The candidate must have computer literacy and will be required to provide a basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized computer training institute. Certificates of the central government / state government / university / councils etc. Will also be acceptable for this purpose. This basic computer knowledge certificate requirement must be relaxed in cases where a candidate has studied the computer as a matriculation material or class XII or higher educational qualification provided that the candidate presents a certificate of registration or class XII Or higher school qualification in which he / she studied the computer as subject.

Residence:
The candidate chosen for the position of GDS BPM must obligatorily occupy his residence in the village of the Post office within one month after the selection.But before the engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster. The applicant must submit a declaration to that effect in the application. The candidate selected for a position other than GDS BPM must reside in the post village / delivery jurisdiction.

SUITABLE SUITABILITY: Applicants applying for the position should note that they will have sufficient means of subsistence to support themselves and their families from other sources in order to supplement their income. However, this will not be a prerequisite for candidates for this purpose. The successful candidate is required to comply with this condition within 30 days of selection but prior to engagement. In the application itself, the candidate undertakes to have other sources of income than the allowances to be paid by the Government for sufficient means of subsistence for himself and his family. The candidate after being named Gramin Dak Sevak will have to hand in the commitment before the engagement.

IMPROVEMENT OF SAFETY: The candidate applying for the position must note that he / she must provide a guarantee amount of Rs. 25,000 / - in the event of his / her engagement for the position of BPM and Rs. Categories. The bond is in the form of a Fidelity Guarantee bond or a national savings certificate promised to the Post Office on behalf of the President of India.

ACCOMMODATION FOR THE LOCATION OF THE POST OFFICE:
The candidate selected for BPM's commitment will be required to provide centralized accommodation in the village of La Poste within 30 days for use as a post office, and hiring expenses, if any, must be borne by the Candidates.
. No person holding an elective office will be considered for the position.
~ The candidate selected as Gramin Dak Sevak must not engage in any activity with an outside organization that would be detrimental to the business or interests of the post office.
~ Past experience or service of any kind will not be considered for selection.
~ Knowledge of cycling is a prerequisite for GDS positions linked to external tasks.
~ A Gramin Dak Sevak is outside the public service of the Union and is governed by the 2011 GDS (Conduct and Commitment) Rules as amended from time to time.

India Position: Cercle Telangana Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) Recruitment 2017

Selection criteria:
1. The selection will be made according to the automatic merit list generated according to the rules based on the applications submitted online.

2. No weighting will be given for higher education qualifications. Only the scores obtained in the 10th approved Council Standard, aggregated to the percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimal places, will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. The passing of all subjects according to the respective standards of the council is obligatory to take into account the candidate for the calculation of the merit.

3. In the case of candidates obtaining the same marks, the order of merit would be considered a BOD (age above merit). ST Female, SC Female, OBC / UR female, ST Male, SC Male, UR female, ST Male, SC Male, OBC/UR Male.

4. The candidate may choose five positions with priority over the circle / circle applied. In the case where the candidate is selected in all the choices, the lowest priority preference will be retained and all other applications will be lost.
Ex: If a candidate opts for five positions of preference post1, post2, post3, post4, post5, etc. and selected as meritorious in more than one position only the position with preferred priority will be offered and the candidate for all remaining positions will be confiscated.
5. If the applicant voluntarily downloads false documents / information and unnecessary documents, his / her application will not be considered. Similarly, in the event that the candidate enters erroneous marks either high or low with reference to the list of marks loaded, the application will not be considered.
6. The candidate will receive an SMS on his provisional selection on the prescribed date after the selection. Simply receiving SMS or other communication about the selection will not entitle the candidate to apply for regular selection or appointment. The final selection / appointment will be based on the satisfactory completion of the verification and authenticity of all educational and other documents produced by the candidates by the authorities concerned.
A) The Department is not responsible for the non-receipt of e-mails / SMS by the candidate for a particular reason or without reason arising from the services of the service providers and other dependencies. However, a physical communication concerning the draft selection notices will be sent in due course by the respective recruiting authorities in accordance with the selection procedure.
7. The candidate may post his or her result status on the website by providing the reference number until the results are announced. Once the results are declared and the position is completed, it can be consulted in the status of the results which provides all the details of the candidates requested for this post.

The candidate who wishes to apply online must register himself in the portal with the basic details to obtain the registration number.

2. A candidate may register only once in the portal. With this registration number, he can apply to one of the circles or to any number of optional positions. The entrant should not attempt to double the entries voluntarily, since the duplicate entry entitles the entrant to be disqualified from entry.

3. Fees: The applicant of the male OC / CBO category should pay a fee of Rs. 100 / - (Rs. 100) to any main post office. However, payment of fees is exempt for all female and SC / ST applicants. They can apply online directly via the link provided on the website.

Candidates belonging to SC / ST and Women do not have to pay any fees. They can register and apply online directly with the registration number. Candidates belonging to UR / OBC Male are required to make payment of fees after the enrollment process and can apply online after the availability of ID fee and registration number. Applicants who have to pay the fee payment can make payment only to Head Postoffices.No other payment method is allowed

4. The candidate who must make the payment must go to a main post office to make the payment. To make the payment candidate must inform the registration number to the PO counter.

5. For the application of the on-line applicant must submit the application by providing information on the registration number and fee payment number (in the case of fee payable) and proceed to fill out the following information. The documents downloaded once against a registration number will remain on the server, so for the submission of subsequent posts and for the other Circles, the candidates will not have to download documents.
